The Minecraft survival mode is the absolute highlight of the game. Sure, you can spend endless hours on the game creative mode building amazing and fascinating structures and objects. However, nothing beats a good all adventure in the beautifully done pixel cube game’s survival mode.
You start all alone. Stranded, without any resources and only with your barehand. On a computer-generated island that is completely new and random. Even if you played the game before the entire island is new, it is procedurally generated after all.
As you go around exploring this new territory you come across different material and resources you need to craft items ranging from weapons to shelters. These items allow you to survive.
Survive what? Well the dark and gloomy night that is about to set-in 10 minutes after you start the game. The night is dark and full of the world’s terrors. Different monsters will spawn across the map and you need to be ready.
As the long night ends and you make way with the few resources you have left after fending off the pesky monsters you start your journey again. A new day and a new objective. Are you going to work on your shelter this time around and work on improving your weapons? You better be quick though, in 10 minutes daylight will end and the dark night full of monsters will be upon you.
